Obituary for Albert P. Butch Legace
Albert P. “Butch” Legace, III, 59, of Willimantic, died April 11, 2012 in Windham Hospital. He was born February 26, 1953 in Willimantic the son of the late Albert P. and Christine (Loomis) Legace, Jr. He was employed at the High Spirits Bottle Shoppe in Willimantic. “Butch” was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He loved to fish, garden and the Boston Red Sox. He will be truly missed. He is survived by a son Albert Legace and his wife Jolene, a daughter, Crystal Legace and a stepdaughter Stacy. He also leaves two brothers James and David Legace; four sisters: Marie Hiltz, Sandy Legace, Mary Hiltz and Roberta Legace. Also surviving are four grandchildren: Lillian Legace, Jacob, Hunter and Amanda. The family invites relatives and friends to a celebration of his life Tuesday, 4/24/2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bacon Funeral Home, 71 Prospect St. Willimantic.
