Obituary for Alice R. Bombria

Alice R. Bombria, 85 , of Willimantic passed away Friday October 28, 2022 at Backus Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Grant and Alice (Woodward) Bombria.


Born on December 9, 1936 in Willimantic, CT she was a lifelong resident and worked as a telephone operator for AT & T for 25 years. She was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Church in Willimantic, and enjoyed needlecraft and card making.


She is survived by a brother Grant D. Bombria of Storrs; a sister Sarah L. Bombria of Willimantic; and many nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Grant Bombria and his family. She was predeceased by a brother, Henry Bombria and sisters, Martha Bombria and Teotis Segar. A special thanks to Marlene Bombria for her care and support shown to Alice.


A Mass will be celebrated on Friday Nov 4, at 10AM at St. Joseph Church 99 Jackson St, Willimantic. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. There are no calling hours.
