Obituary for Carol Wright
WILLIMANTIC - Carol E. (Noel) Wright passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 4, 2010. She is survived by William F. Loree whom she spent the last 25 years enjoying life with. Born December 27, 1933 to the late Nelson and Ruth (Anthony) Noel. Carol was a life long resident of the Willimantic area and retired from Eastern Connecticut State University in June of 1995, where she served as the University payroll officer.Â
           In addition to William, Carol is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Eileen and William Hall of Hampton; son David Maheu of Hampton; granddaughter Dawn Kemp and husband Eric of Chaplin; grandson Eric Hall and wife Patricia of Windham; as well as great-grandchildren Aidan, Ashlyn, Owen and Conner; brother and sister-in-law Charles and Viola Noel of Hampton; sister Dorothy Perkins of Niantic; and brother Anthony Noel of Maine. Carol was predeceased by a son, Victor J. Maheu, Jr; brothers Norman and Clifford Noel; and sisters, Barbara Regan, Eleanor Divine, Margaret Lussier and Harriet Lucas.
           The Bacon Funeral Home is in charge of private arrangements. Donations may be made to the Covenant Soup Kitchen, 220 Valley St., Willimantic.
