David R. Skellwies, 55, of Amston, husband of Christine (Kane) Skellwies passed away Tuesday November 26, 2019 at Windham Hospital.
Born on July 7, 1964 in New Haven, CT he worked for Twin Manufacturing in South Windsor and was a U. S. Army veteran having served from 1986-1995. He was also involved with the Newington V.A.
Besides his wife, he leaves his mother, Helene (Redenbach) Palmieri of Colchester; his father, Gerhardt Skellwies and his wife, Barbara of FL; his daughter, Kristen Capone of WI; and a brother. Gary Skellwies of Colchester.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America 245 W. Houston St, New York, NY. 10014.
