Obituary for Dawn M. Boker
Dawn M. Boker passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2010 in Windham Hospital.
Dawn was born February 21, 1960 in Willimantic, CT the daughter of Donald and Marilyn (Balcome) Boker. She was a member of St. Mary Church in Willimantic. Dawn was predeceased by her parents and her brother, David. She is survived by her sister Susan of Willimantic. Other surviving family members include two uncles James Balcome and his wife Joy of Manchester, CT and Patrick Prue and his wife Lynn and two cousins. Dawn also leaves a longtime family friend Jason, as well as many close friends and caregivers. Dawn is a graduate of Windham High School and worked for the Dept. of Developmental Services (DMR) for thirty years. Dawn enjoyed reading, videos, and was very interested in many animal welfare charities.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, 3/6/10, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary Church in Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Windham. There are no calling hours.
