Obituary for Denise M. Orsos
Denise Marie (LaFlamme) Orsos, 79 of Storrs, formerly of Windham passed away on Wednesday September 22, 2021 at Mansfield Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was the daughter of the late Jules and Maria-Laure (Pelletier) LaFlamme.
 Born on May 1, 1942 in ST Raphael PQ Canada, Denise moved to Willimantic, CT and obtained her citizenship in 1969 and later married and relocated to Lebanon, CT. She was a stay-at-home mom to 3 children and later in life was employed by Rogers Corporation of South Windham, CT. After her retirement, she worked part-time for many years in the Housekeeping Department at the Immaculata Retreat House in Willimantic. She was a fabulous cook, avid gardener, talented sewer and knitter and loved spending time with her family. She was also a lifelong member of St. Mary’s Church in Willimantic.
 She leaves behind her 3 children, son Paul Orsos of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, daughter Brenda (Orsos) Bennett and son-in law James of Lebanon, CT and son Mark Orsos and partner Sharon Boisvert of Coventry, CT; grandchildren Ian, Joshua, Alexander, Amanda, Morgan, Parker and Andrew and many nieces and nephews.
 Denise was predeceased by her brother Eddie LaFlamme, sister Marie-Jeanne Wylie and sister Louisette Fradette. She leaves behind her brothers Bertrand LaFlamme and Denis LaFlamme.
 The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the nurses and staff of Mansfield Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for their care and support of Denise especially during the isolation of COVID as well as the care and compassion of Masonicare Home Health & Hospice.
