Dianne Cichon, 66, of Willimantic passed away Sunday December 15, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Stanley and Irene (Josephs) Cichon.
She was born on November 29, 1953 and resided at 64 Turner St, Willimantic. She was employed by Mohegan Sun Casino for the last 20 years.
She is survived by her brother, John Cichon; her nephew, Jared Cichon and his wife, Angela and their sons, Anthony and Owen; her sister-in-law, Jane Cichon as well as many cousins and friends. Also a special mention to Kelly, Jessie and Sharon who were devoted to her care during her illness.
Dianne was a gentle spirit, soft spoken and deeply private. She was authentic, fiercely independent and loved to make people laugh. She was deeply spiritual with a love for God and she handled her illness with dignity and grace. She had childlike wonder, an inquisitive nature and a great devotion to her family.
We will see her in a flower, hear her in a birds song and feel her in a gentle breeze. She was loved, will be missed but never forgotten.
