Obituary for Dorothy (Maheu) Desrosiers
Dorothy M. (Maheu) Desrosiers, 87, of Columbia, CT, beloved wife of the late Lucien J. Desrosiers, Sr.,passed away July 27, 2018 at home. She was born February 17, 1931 in Willimantic, CT the daughter of Octave and Aldea Maheu, Jr. Dorothy was employed by the American Thread Co. for more than 45 years, retiring in 1985. Her survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law: Lucien J. and Judith A. Desrosiers of Pawtucket, RI and Donald J. Desrosiers of Willimantic. She also leaves six grandchildren, several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Robert and ten brothers and sisters. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated August 1st, 2018 at 10 a.m. in St. Mary Church, 46 Valley St. Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Club Rd. Windham. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of E.CT, 34 Ledgebrook Dr. Mansfield Center, CT 06250.
