Obituary for Edward Eugene "Poppy" Breault
Edward Eugene “Poppy” Breault, 74, of Willimantic, died February 14, 2008 in Haven Health Center of Jewett City. He was born February 16, 1933 in Willimantic, CT the son of Phillip and Cora (Baldwin) Breault. He was employed by the Coventry School System for 10 years. He previously worked for the American Thread Co. for many years. “Poppy” was a veteran of the Korean War. His survivors include three sons: Pastor Edward Breault of California, James A. Breault of Willimantic and Edward E. Breault, Jr. of Columbia; two daughters: Patricia LaChappelle and her husband, Maurice of Columbia and Mary Breault of Willimantic; and a brother, Robert Breault of Coventry. He also leaves eleven grandchildren: Laura, Tina, Chad, Summer, Mark, Scott, Jason, Jennifer, Susan, Tanya and Ashley; seven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, including Michael Fogg. He was predeceased by a sister, Bertha Fogg and a brother, Kenneth Breault. Graveside Services will be held Friday, 2/22/08 at 10 am in St. Mary Cemetery in Coventry, CT. The family will receive friends Thursday, from 6 to 8 pm at the Bacon Funeral Home, 71 Prospect St. Willimantic.
