Obituary for Frank P. Limanni
Frank P. Limanni, 87, of Willimantic, died Saturday, 8/5/06, in his home. He was born October 7, 1918 in Willimantic the son of Antonio and Francesca (Maiorana) Limanni.          He retired from Rogers Corp. many years ago. He was previously employed by the Brand Rex Co. and prior to that, by the Electro-Motive Co. During World War 2, he served in the Army in the Pacific Theater, where he was awarded the Purple Heart. Mr. Limanni was an active supporter of Disabled American Veterans organizations. He was a communicant of St. Joseph Church. His survivors include two brothers: Samuel Limanni and his wife, Gloria of Willimantic and Dominic Limanni and his wife, Julia of Portland, Ct. He also leaves seven nieces and nephews and several cousins. He was predeceased by a sister, Rosamaria Limanni and a brother, Joseph Anthony Limanni. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, 8/9/06, at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church in Willimantic. Burial, with full military honors, will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Windham. Calling hours are Tuesday, from 6 to 8 p.m. and again Wednesday, from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. at the Bacon Funeral Home, 71 Prospect St. Willimantic.
