Obituary for Gail M. (Trasko) Stalinski
Gail (Trasko) Stalinski, 54, of Griswold, beloved wife of John P. Stalinski, passed away Friday, 5/11/07, in Hartford Hospital. She was born February 25, 1953 in Norwich, CT the daughter of the late Paul Trasko and Joan (Talbot) Damon of North Stonington. Gail was an Information Specialist for Senior Resources in Norwich, actively involved in updating the elderly on available benefits and organizing the area Senior Expo. A graduate of Notre Dame High School, her avocations were many and varied, including: acting, pottery-making, music and caring for animals. She was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary #10004 of Jewett City and the A.A.R.P. Chapter 3636. Gail was there for anyone in need and will be missed by her family and many friends. Besides her mother, she is survived by a sister, Karen Bridenstine of Griswold, her niece, Courtney Bridenstine, with whom she had a special relationship, several aunts and uncles and many cousins. She also leaves two stepsons, David and Erick Stalinski and two sisters-in-law, Tammy Curtis and Bonnie Olden. Her family will receive friends Thursday, 5/17/07, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Guillot Funeral Home, 75 South B. St. Taftville. A Graveside Service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Route 207 in Baltic.
