Obituary for Geraldine D. Insalaco
Geraldine D. Insalaco, 85, of Willimantic, widow of Antonio J. Insalaco, died Tuesday, 5/2/06, in Windham Hospital. She was born February 2, 1921 in Windham the daughter of Alfred and Rose Anna (Michaud) Lariviere. A lifelong resident of Willimantic, she was a loving wife, caring grandmother and “Aunt Gerry” to all of her friends and family. Her survivors include two sons: John Insalaco and his wife, Ann-Row of Scotland and Michael Insalaco and his wife, Kathy of Jackson, Tenn.; four grandchildren: Brie Insalaco of Milford, NJ, Jamie Insalaco of New Britain, Ian and Corey Insalaco of Jackson, Tenn. She also leaves a sister, Mary Koepke of Chaplin and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers: Eugene and Wilfred Lariviere and three sisters: Ora French, Claire Paquette and Evelyn Olsen. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, 5/5/06, at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church in Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Windham. The family will receive friends Thursday, from 6 to 8 p.m. and again Friday, from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. at the Bacon Funeral Home, 71 Prospect St. Willimantic.
