Germain Marie (Lussier) Skowron, of Franklin, CT widow of Joseph P. Skowron, formerly of Willimantic, CT
She was born December 6, 1917 in Mansfield, CT the daughter of Peter and Jospehine (St. Martin) Lussier. She had been an active member of the Senior Center of Jackson St. and a communicant of St. Mary's Church.
Her survivors include a son and daughter-in-law Nelson and Liz Constant of St. Petersburg, FL; ex-daughter in law Nancy Muzykoski of Franklin, granddaughter, Connie Sharp of Franklin and a step-daughter, Delores Hervieux, also of Franklin. She also leaves three great grandchildren: Kaleigh, Parker and Blake Sharp. The family of Marie would like to thank Bonnie and Sarah, her long time aids, for their loving care throughout the years.
Her family will receive relatives and friends Thursday, 12/18/14, from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the Bacon Funeral Home, 71 Prospect St. Willimantic. followed by a Funeral Mass at St Joseph Church at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery on Club Rd in Windham. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary Church Repair Fund, 80 Maple Ave. Willimantic, CT 06226.
