Obituary for Germaine (Tellier) Bartholomew
Germaine (Tellier) Bartholomew, 90, of Windham, widow of Elton L. Bartholomew, died Friday, 01/26/07, in Douglas Manor in Windham, CT. She was born Jan. 25, 1917 in Willimantic, CT the daughter of Philip and Imelda (Beaulieu) Tellier. She had worked for the Electro-Motive Co. in Willimantic from 1950 until retiring in 1975. Mrs. Bartholomew was a member of St. Mary’s Church and St. Anne’s Society. Her survivors include two sons: Ronald Bartholomew of Willimantic and William Bartholomew and his wife, Aubra of Scotland, CT; a daughter, Dorothy Ann Olson of San Diego, CA; 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She also leaves a brother, Raymond Tellier of Windham, a sister, Doris Carpenter of Windham and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Edward Tellier and a sister, Cecilia Marrotte. Her Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, 1/31/07, at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Cemetery in Windham. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary’s Church Repair Fund, 80 Maple Ave. Willimantic, CT 06226. The Bacon Funeral Home, 71 Prospect St. Willimantic has charge of arrangements.
