Obituary for Henry L. Depathy
Henry L. Depathy, 90, beloved husband of the late Lucille (Garceau) Depathy, died January 2, 2018 in Douglas Manor, Windham. A lifelong resident of Willimantic, he was born March 15, 1927 the son of Adelard and Agnes (Bobeck) Depathy.Henry was employed by the Connecticut Light and Power Co. for many years. During World War 2, he served with the Army in Europe. He was a life member of the Willimantic Elks Lodge 1311 and communicant of St. Mary Church. Henry’s family is grateful to the staff of Douglas Manor for the exceptional care provided him. His survivors include his son Mark Depathy and his wife Nancy; a daughter Robin Liapis and her husband Michael; three granddaughters: Jocelyn Depathy, Alyson and her husband David Krahl and Kaitlyn Depathy. He also leaves a great grandson Barrett Krahl and a daughter-in-law Catherine Depathy. Henry was predeceased by his son Keith Depathy. His family will receive relatives and friends Friday, 1/5/18, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Bacon Funeral Home, 71 Prospect St. Willimantic, CT. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 1/6/18, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary Church, 46 Valley St. Willimantic followed by burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Club Rd. Windham. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
