Obituary for Jeanne (Landry) Theriault
Jeanne (Landry) Theriault, 89, of South Windham, CT, widow of Clyde P. Therriault, died July 16, 2011 in St. Joseph Living Center in Windham, CT. She was born June 18, 1922 in Lowell, MA the daughter of Adelard and Elizabeth (Landry) Landry. She was the office manager of Windham Floor Covering for many years. Jeanne was an avid traveler from 1970 to 2009. Her journeys took her many places including an African Safari, the Great Wall of China, the Australian Outback and the Vatican. Her poker club lasted over thirty years and she will be missed by her fellow players. Jeanne was a talented seamstress and her crewel works adorn several family homes. She was a communicant of St. Mary Church. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Linda Theriault of South Windham; three sisters: Hilda Butova and Doris Duca and her husband Donald all of Taftville, CT and Theresa Way and her husband Henry of Norwich, CT. She also leaves two grandsons: Edward Theriault and his wife Jennifer of Willimantic and Douglas Theriault and his wife Kelly of Mystic, CT; Also four great grandchildren: Jacob Theriault, Aubrey Theriault, Jordan Theriault and Lexie Theriault. Jeanne was predeceased by a brother, Adelbert Landry and a sister, Sylvia Fortin. Her family will receive relatives and friends Thursday, 7/21/11, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bacon Funeral Home, 71 Prospect St. Willimantic, CT. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, 7/22/11, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary Church, Valley St. Willimantic. Please go directly to church.
