Obituary for Jeannette (Handfield) DiAnge
Jeannette (Handfield) DiAnge,, a lifelong resident of Willimantic, CT, was born February 14, 1920 and passed away peacefully June 16, 2015. Â She was predeceased by her husband Dominic DiAnge in 2001. Jen enjoyed reading, birdwatching and following her lady Huskies during basketball season. She was a kind and thoughtful person and loved her family very much.
Jen is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Don and Nancy DiAnge; two grandchildren Brian DiAnge and his wife Lindsay, and Erika DiAnge; two great grandchildren, Aliyah and Amerie Cotto. She also leaves several nieces and nephews and their children. A special thanks to her niece Emma Palladino for all her love and support.
The family would like to thank the staff of St. Joseph Living Center for their care and compassion during her final days of life. Relatives and friends will be received on Monday, 6/22/15, from 6 to 8 pm at the Bacon Funeral Home, 71 Prospect St., Willimantic, CT 06226. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 6/23/15, at 12:30 pm at St. Mary Church, Valley St., Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Club Road, Windham.
