Obituary for Jeannette L. Gaudreau
Jeannette L. Gaudreau, born October 1, 1919 passed away peacefully Friday March 20, 2020 at St. Joseph Living Center. She was the daughter of the late Hector and Rosanna (Ducharme) Gaudreau.
She lived in Willimantic all her life, graduated from Windham High School, went to Business College and was a member of St. Mary Church, Willimantic. She was an executive assistant for Brand Wire & Cable for over 50 years until her retirement shortly after they were bought out by General Cable. She was an avid reader and subscribed to many magazines and newspapers and was a member of book clubs acquiring a large library. Never married she lived with her mother and 2 sisters until their passing.
She is survived by a niece and 3 nephews, Alice G. Litwin of Oakdale, Roger P. Gaudreau of Maryville, TN, Richard L. Gaudreau of Enfield, and Edward F. Gaudreau of Mansfield. She was predeceased by 5 brothers, Hormisdas, Oscar, Joseph, Alpha and Ulysses Gaudreau; and 2 sisters, Bertha and Germaine Gaudreau.
Due to the virus epidemic, a private family service will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary Church, Willimantic or to St. Joseph Living Center, Windham.
