Obituary for John S. Federowicz
John Samuel Federowicz of Storrs, CT passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family, on Friday, June 1st 2012.
Born January 22, 1943, in Willimantic, CT. John was the son of the late Chet & Helen Federowicz. He was married to the late Deanna Federowicz, his wife of 42 years. John was survived by son and daughter-in-law, Kiev J. and Gail; granddaughter, Kes; brother and spouse, Donn and Linda Federowicz; and companion, Suzanne Harriman.
John was a lifelong resident of Eastern Connecticut where he graduated from Windham High School, then attended UConn where he received his Bachelors Degree in Finance. John was a Veteran of the Air Force, serving as a Radar Repairman primarily stationed at the Charleston AFB in ME in the early sixties. Know as "Johnny Fed" to his friends and family, Johnny was active businessman, inventor, and developer in many different areas throughout his life. John will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all whose lives he has touched.
Memorial services are to be held for John on Saturday June 9th, 2012 at 11:00AM at the First Cong. Chruch, 1171 Main Street Coventry CT 06238. A reception will follow the service.
