Obituary for Josephine Licata
Josephine Licata, 79, of Willimantic, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2007 at St. Joseph’s Living Center in Willimantic. Josephine was born in Willimantic on April 28, 1927, the daughter of the late Joseph P., Sr. and Lilly (Salveggio) Licata.            She worked at the Electro-Motive Manufacturing Co. for twenty years and at the University of Connecticut for twenty-nine years, before retiring a year ago.  ,She was presently a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church.            Josephine is survived by three brothers, Samuel Licata of Willimantic, Norman Licata of Windham, and Angelo Licata of East Hartford; two sisters, Rose Bodino of Shreveport, LA and Lillian Cohen of Coventry; and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her brothers Paul Licata and Joseph P. Licata, Jr.; and a sister Mary Madden.            A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 19, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, 99 Jackson St., Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Windham.
