Obituary for Laurianne M. Adams
Laurianne Adams, 95, of Willimantic passed away on March 30, 2017 at Douglas Manor, Windham, CT. She was born in Taftville, CT to the late Louis and Alma Rondeau. She grew up in Ste. Emelie de L'Energie, Quebec, Canada. Laurie retired from the University of Connecticut where she worked for many years. Prior to that she worked at the Electro Motive Manufacturing Co.
She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church, Willimantic. She shared her love of cooking and baking by donating to others. Her pet dog and cats were her constant companions.
She is survived by her loving sister, Rachel McManus of Marlow, NH; devoted nieces Elaine Bernier and husband Norman; Denise Boisvert; and nephews Thomas Boisvert and wife Deb; and Donald Boisvert Also Robert Adams and wife Catherine, and many other nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Leo Adams; sister, Cecile Rondeau; and great-niece, Nicole Boisvert Gavis.
We would like to thank all the staff at Douglas Manor for their excellent care of Laurianne during the last years of her life.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 3, 2017, 11:00 am at St. Joseph Church, Willimantic, CT with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
