Obituary for Leo J. Therriault
Leo J. Therriault, 87, of Willimantic, beloved husband of Lois (Bushey) Therriault, died Sunday, 10/29/06, in Windham Hospital. He was born March 2, 1919 in Lowell, MA the son of Thomas and Laura (Gauthier) Therriault. He was a truck driver For Morris Foster. Leo was an Army veteran of World War 2, serving with the 106th Infantry Division in Europe. He was a member of the V.F.W. Gold Star Post 1724 and a Communicant of St. Mary’s Church. Besides his wife, his survivors include four daughters: Gloria Meikle of Chaplin, Linda Karki and her husband, Pashupati and Sandra Delgado and her husband, Samuel all of Willimantic and Carol Argueta of Miami, FL; 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and five great, great grandchildren. He also leaves  three sisters: Beatrice Giroux of Cranston, RI, Cecile Therriault of Providence, RI, and Lillian DeMaris of Coventry, RI; a brother, Paul Therriault and his wife, Rita of Pawtucket, RI and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Joyce Miner and a son, Leo Paul Therriault, Jr. His Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, 11/01/2006, at 10 a.m. in the Plain Cemetery on the Under-the Mountain Road in Franklin, CT. The family will receive friends Tuesday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bacon Funeral Home, 71 Prospect St. Willimantic. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
