Obituary for Leonard E. Chandler
Leonard E. Chandler, 77 of Windham, husband of Paulette (Richards) Chandler passed away Friday March 19, 2021 at St. Joseph Living Center. He was the son of the late Ellory and Lillian May (Billings) Chandler.Â
Born on August 12, 1943 in Storrs, CT he attended E.O Smith High School. He worked as maintenance at Windham Public Schools & Ivy Gardens. He enjoyed following Nascar and attending local race tracks. In the 60’s he drove stock cars at Riverside and won multiple trophies. In the 80’s he was won a pit crew for a local race team. He loved to build things in his workshop, He was an avid bowler in the 60’s and 70’s and most of all he loved spending time with his family and his dogs Ralph and Pooh.
 Besides his wife, Paulette, he is survived by his sister Joyce Cline and his brother William Chandler; his children, Teriann Chandler, April Shepaum and Michael Shepaum; grandchildren, Julissa Shepaum, Mickala Shepaum and Myriah (Shepaum) Mike; great grandchildren: Ryleigh Ross and Madilynn Mike. He was predeceased by his sister Dorothy (Porter) Provencher and his brother Donald Chandler.
