Obituary for Leonard F. Lee
Leonard F. Lee, 90, of Mansfield, husband of the late Florence (Oliver) Lee, died Sunday, 2/12/06, in Douglas Manor in Windham. He was born Oct. 14, 1915 in New Bedford, MA the son of Joseph and Mary (Brown) Lee. He was employed by the American Screw Co. and later was the Plant Superintendent of the Brand Rex Wire & Cable Co. in Willimantic. Mr. Lee was a member of St. Jude’s Council of the Knights of Columbus in Coventry. He enjoyed fishing and golfing. His survivors include three daughters: Sandra and her husband, William, Linda Hill and her husband, Ken of Willington and Beth Lee Spinner and her husband, Clifford of Columbia; a son, Leonard J. Lee and his wife, Sandra of Tolland. He also leaves nine grandchildren: Christine Kotrba, Karen Robinson, Laurie Devaney, Jennifer Hussey, Leonard J. Lee, Kate Hill-Hillyer, Matthew Hill, Thomas Hill and Clayton Spinner and nine great-grandchildren. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, 2/16/06, at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church in Coventry. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Windham. The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 6 to 8 p.m. and again Thursday, from 8:45 to 9:15 a.m. at the Bacon Funeral Home, 71 Prospect St. Willimantic.
