Luba Stephany Hoskins, 63, who was born December 18, 1942 in Brody, Ukraine, died Sunday, 7/30/06, at home. A loving and giving wife, a caring and irreplaceable mother, this woman leaves behind a devoted husband of 43 years, Ronald Hoskins, Sr.; Her daughters: Cathy, Deborah and Darlene; her sons: Ronald, Eric and Lawrence. She also leaves her grandchildren: Little Eric, Nicole, Kyle, Crystal, Michael, Whitney, Joshua, Tiffany, Amber and Cory. We grew up watching you work hard and unselfishly, always putting us before yourself. We could not have hoped for or dreamed for a better wife, mother, teacher or friend. All of us are truly rich for knowing you, Mom, much less for being a part of you. Her name means “Love” in Ukrainian, a fitting name for a person who gave it so freely. Our only regret is that our time together was too short. Above all, she will be missed by her husband, daughters, sons and grandchildren. God, please keep her close. She is one of the special ones. Thank you for giving her to us, if only for a short time. We love you Mom. You are in our hearts forever. We will not forget. We will stay together.Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, 8/3/06, at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church on Valley St. in Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Windham. Her family will receive friends Wednesday, from 6 to 8 p.m. and again Thursday, from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. at the Bacon Funeral Home, 71 Prospect St. Willimantic.
