Obituary for Lucille (Lariviere) Hadam
Lucille (Lariviere) Hadam, 82, of Waterford, formerly of Willimantic, widow of Theodore Hadam, died April 10, 2008 in the Fountain View Care Center in Waterford.
She was born November 10, 1925 in Hartford, CT the daughter of Florimond and Esther (Sylvester) Lariviere.
She was employed by the American Optical Co. in Norwich, retiring in 1976. Lucille was previously employed by Kenmar Optical for 10 years and prior to that, the Majestic Trouser Co. in Norwich for 8 years. Lucille was a member and Past President of the Polish Legion of American Vets., Aux. Post 132 in Norwich, member and Past Regent of the Daughters of Isabella, Past President of St. Mary Guild, member of the Senior Citizens of Chaplin and a communicant of St. Mary Church.
Her survivors include four sons: William LaBonte of Texas, Gary and Ronald D. LaBonte of Norwich and Craig LaBonte of Baltic; a daughter, Nancy Clifford of Norwich, eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She also leaves a sister, Irene Nixie of Ledyard and several nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 4/15/08, at 10 a.m. in St. Mary Church in Willimantic. Please assemble at church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Windham.The family will receive friends on Monday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bacon Funeral Home, 71 Prospect St. Willimantic.
