Obituary for Lucille T. Depathy
Lucille T. (Garceau) Depathy, 77, of Willimantic, beloved wife of Henry L. Depathy, died February 7, 2008 in St. Joseph Living Center. She was born September 2, 1930 in Willimantic the daughter of Ovila D. and Rhea (Lajeunesse) Garceau. She was employed by the Savings Institute as a New Account Representative for 15 years, retiring in 1996. She previously worked for the Willimantic Savings and Loan for many years and Liberty Bank for several years. Lucille was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Willimantic. Besides her husband, her survivors include two sons: Keith Depathy and his wife, Catherine of Bolton and Mark Depathy and his wife, Nancy of Tolland; a daughter, Robin Depathy of Willimantic and three grandchildren: Jocelyn, Alyson and Kaitlyn Depathy. She also leaves two sisters: Agnes McTott of Florida and Sister Bernadette Garceau of the Sisters of Charity of Our Lady Mother of the Church; a brother, Robert Garceau and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, 2/11/08, at 11 am in St. Mary’s Church in Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Windham. The family will receive friends Sunday, from 6 to 8 pm and again Monday, from 10:00 to 10:30 am at the Bacon Funeral Home, 71 Prospect St. Willimantic.
