Marlene M Beaulieu (Carr) of Columbia Ct / Newport NH, wife of the late Richard ( Dick) G
Beaulieu , passed away on Monday January 9, 2017 at St. Joseph Living Center in Windham
CT, surrounded by her family. She was born in Lovilia, Iowa. Daughter of the late Joseph and
Elizabeth Carr. Marlene and Dick were high school sweethearts. They were married for 52
years. Marlene was a dedicated wife and mother. She loved to be at the shore. She was very
giving to others and many organizations including most recently The Lifegivers Children's Home
orphanage in India. Her honesty and openness and ability to listen to all were one of her
greatest qualities.She was also a very stubborn Irish women. She loved her family more than
life it's self. She recently was asked what gave her comfort. Her reply was " my family " .
Marlene is survived by her three children, Deborah Reynolds and her husband Gary of
Columbia CT , Denise Casey and her husband Timothy of Hebron CT, Christopher Beaulieu
and wife Tracy of Bradford NH. Grandchildren , Amy Reynolds, Danielle(Reynolds)Brown and
husband Dan , Kimberly Reynolds, Rebecca (Casey)Stimson and husband Taylor, Timmy ,
Caleb, & Joshua Casey, Felicia and Daniel Beaulieu. Great Grandchildren, Shem ,Noah and
Evelyn Stimson , Eli and Jack Brown. She also leaves her dedicated sister Jo Ann Sinnott of
Davenport Iowa. Who has spent the last 8 months by her side every single day. And several
nieces and nephews and cousins .She was predeceased by a brother Raymond "Ray boy" Carr
and two infant Grandchildren Christopher and Gabriel , and brother in law Richard Sinnott.
Her Family would like to thank the staff and residents at St. Joseph Living Center for their
Kindness , Compassion, and Friendship during the past several months.And a special thank you
to Dr. Mark Dailey and nurse Jessica at Windham Oncology.
The Family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday January 15th from 6 to 8pm at Bacon
Funeral home, 71 Prospect St , Willimantic CT. .Her funeral mass will be celebrated Monday
January 16, 2017 at 11:00 at St. Columba's Church , Route 66 Columbia , CT.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph Living Center End of life suite, 14 Club
Road , Windham CT 06280 , or The Worship Center Missions, P.O.box 1435, Hebron, CT
06248. The donations will directly benefit The Children's Life Giver Home orphanage in India.
