Obituary for Naglia Julia (Haddad) Nadile
Naglia Julia Haddad-Nadile, first born child of Louis G. and Rose Haddad, departed earth for heaven on Friday, April 26, 2013 at 6:37p.m. She was 92 ½ years old.  She was of Lebanese decent, and her family came from Niha, Lebanon. She was an outstanding cook, always preparing Lebanese food for her family to savor and, an exceptional wife, mother, and grandmother. Naglia was employed by the Windham Public School system as a paraprofessional for 39 consecutive years.  She married Anthony Nadile on September 1, 1947 and they shared 65 memorable years together. Their love and devotion to one another is only found in storybooks and film. She was a communicate of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church for over 70 years, although she was christened Syrian Orthodox, St. Paul’s was a welcoming home since there were no other Syrian Orthodox Churches in the area. She and our father welcomed first born daughter, Noreen Rose Nadile on May 29th and second daughter, Nancy Jane Catherine Randazzo four years later on May 2nd.  Naglia has one grandson, Anthony Edward Randazzo a freshman at Pace University in Manhattan, New York, and one son-in-law Edward Salvatore Randazzo of Wethersfield, CT.   In addition, she has four siblings:   Arthur Haddad of Red Hook, New York, Henry Haddad of Wethersfield, CT, Florence Haddad-Modi, from Norwich, CT, and Mildred Haddad of Long Island, New York.   Her sisters, Olga Haddad Wignall and Jamelia Haddad Ferris pre-deceased her, as well as, her younger brother George L. Haddad, who recently died in September 2012. Nine months of the year she and her family resided in Willimantic, CT but always spent their summers at the beach house in Groton Long Point, CT. where Naglia enjoyed swimming, bathing in the sun and clamming. Her family will have a private service and burial. Memorial donations may be made to the Connecticut Humane Society in Newington, CT
