Obituary for Norman "Pete" O. Pichette
Norman “Pete” O. Pichette, 74 of Fort Myers Beach, FL formerly of Willimantic passed away Friday February 28, 2020. He was the husband of the late Valerie Jean (Carlson) Pichette.
Born on October 3, 1945 in Woonsocket, RI he was the son of the late Eugene and Jeannette (Duchesne) Pichette. He lived in Willimantic for most of his life and retired as a network engineer and was also U.S. Army veteran. He was a lifetime member of the Franco-American Social Club in Windham and a member of St. Joseph Church in Willimantic.
He is survived by his sons, Brian Pichette of Willimantic and Daniel Pichette and his wife, Megan of Norwich ; a brother, Richard Pichette of Burrillville, RI; and 5 grandchildren, Michael Mangual, Sean Pichette, Caitlin Pichette, Jack Pichette and Molly Pichette.
Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday Mar 10, from 5 to 7PM at Bacon Funeral Home 71 Prospect St, Willimantic. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wed Mar 11, at 11AM at St. Joseph Church 99 Jackson St, Willimantic. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kicking Cancer in the Cornhole/VJP Foundation 12 Blueberry Hill Rd, Norwich, CT. 06360.
