Obituary for Patricia Ann Urban
Patricia Ann (Peltier) Urban, 60, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully at the W. W. Backus Hospital in Norwich, CT, surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born March 7, 1945 in Willimantic to the late Clarence and Alice Peltier. She married Robert J. Urban on August 1, 1964 and they celebrated 41 wonderful years together. Patricia was a loving wife and mother and will be greatly missed. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, feeding the local wildlife, and cared deeply for all animals, including her two favorite cats, Ashley and Mocha. In addition to her devoted husband, she leaves four children and their spouses: Robert and Lisa Urban of Griswold, Melissa and Robert Devaux of Chaplin, Brenda and Paul Malley of Canterbury and Leon Urban of Lebanon. She has five grandchildren, who were the light of her life: Shelbi, Matthew, Joshua, Robert and Danielle. She also leaves several nieces and nephews, who kept a special place in her heart. She is predeceased by a daughter, Krista Jean, two brothers, Alfred Arnold and William Arnold and a sister, Virginia Peacock. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 2/4/06, at 10 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 67 W. Town St. Lebanon. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Friday, 2/3/06, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Bacon Funeral Home, 71 Prospect St. Willimantic. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 238 West Town St. Norwich, CT 06360.
