Obituary for Paul A. Ricard
Paul Aime Ricard, 95 of Manchester, husband of Yvette Ricard passed away Wednesday April 22, 2020 peacefully at home. He was the son of the late Ernest and Imelda (Gamache) Ricard.

Born on January 5, 1925 he lived in Willimantic all of his life and resided in Manchester for the past 8 years. He worked as a trailer truck driver for Federal Paper Board in
Versailles, CT. Paul drove throughout the northeast for many years until his retirement. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran having served during WW II and received the American Campaign Medal, the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. He was also a lifelong member of the Elks and St. Mary Church in Willimantic.

Besides his wife, he leaves his son, Daniel Ricard and his wife, Marie of Manchester; a sister, Ida Weaver of Willimantic; grandaughter, Kristen and her husband, Derek of Bozeman, MT and grandson Ryan of Richmond, VA and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Ronald and his siblings, Eddie, Robert, Rene and Blanche.

A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Navy
