Obituary for Pierre V. Lambert

Pierre V. Lambert, 73, of Willimantic, husband of Raymonde (Turgeon) Lambert passed away suddenly Saturday, April 25, 2020 at home. He was the son of the late Gerard and Therese (Boucher) Lambert.

Born in 1947 in Montreal, Canada, he came to Connecticut in 1965 to work at the former American Thread Mill. Later he worked at Concordia Thread in Coventry, RI. He completed his work career as a Security Guard at Mohegan Sun Casino for the last 18 years.

In addition to his career, Pierre volunteered for many years at the Windham Area Interfaith Ministry. Pierre was a member of the Knights of Columbus San Jose Council #14. He was an active member of Saint Mary Church in Willimantic in whatever capacity he was needed. Always willing to volunteer, his real passion and love was his family.

He was also very proud of his five grandchildren: Stephan Jr., Gabrielle, Julia, Andrew, and Maximillian. He never tired of spending time with his family and entertaining them either as Santa Claus on Christmas Eve or with his many “collections”.
