Obituary for Raymond J. Miller
Raymond J. Miller, 86, of Lebanon, CT, beloved husband of Rose (Alfier) Miller, died January 3, 2008 in Windham Hospital. He was born August 18, 1921 in Hartford, CT the son of Edward and Rose (McFarland) Miller. He was a Tool & Die Maker employed by the Brand Rex Co. in Willimantic. Ray was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War 2, a life member of the Willimantic Elks and a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Lebanon. Besides his wife, his survivors include a son, Michael Miller and his wife, Sally of California; three daughters: Maureen Willis and her husband, Hershall of Mansfield Center, Joanna Campbell and her husband, John of South Carolina and Janice Tezack of Florida. He also leaves six grandchildren. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, 1/10/08, at 10:30 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church in Lebanon. Burial will follow in the New Lebanon Cemetery on Waterman Rd. in Lebanon. The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 6 to 8 pm and again Thursday, from 9:00 to 9:30 am at the Bacon Funeral Home, 71 Prospect St. Willimantic.
