Raymond Kelley, 81 of Englewood, Florida passed away at his home on Friday, October 21, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 29, 1941 in Willimantic, CT, to Ovila and Ann Midura Kelley. Besides his parents, Raymond was pre-deceased by his siblings William Kelley, Robert Kelley, Beverly Kelley Meduna, and grandsons Jason Norman and Matthew Hemingway. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Judy Beaudry Kelley, his daughters Robin, Lisa, and Kristine Kelley of Englewood Florida, his son David Kelley of Lilburn, Georgia. He leaves 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Raymond was well known in the Willimantic area as the owner of Kelley’s Construction, and Kelley’s Keg a Restaurant and Pub. He resided in the area for 60 years before retiring to Englewood, Florida. He retired to Florida with his wife in 2001. His hobbies included snowmobiling in Connecticut, motorcycle riding and boating in Florida. He enjoyed visits to Hawaii, Jamaica, and Puerto Rico. He was an avid animal lover. His last companion of 17 years, Max his Jack Russell, was always by his side.
