Obituary for Rita J. Lefevre Morin
Rita J. Lefevre Morin of Mansfield Center, CT, beloved wife of the late Rosario E Morin, died peacefully at St. Joseph's Living Center on March 14, 2014.  She was born February 15, 1925 in Dayville, CT, the daughter of Samuel and Bernadette (Hervieux) Lefevre.  Rita has been a resident of the Willimantic/Mansfield area since her marriage in May 1949.  She has been a devoted member of St. Mary's Parish in Willimantic, CT since then.  She worked at American Thread and retired from the University of CT in Storrs after 25 years of service.  She leaves behind her daughter Theresa Morin Hoyt and husband Dennis Hoyt of Chaplin, sons Dennis Morin and David Owens of Wethersfield, granddaughter Heather Hoyt Coughlin and husband John Coughlin of Mansfield, grandson Timothy Hoyt of Hampton and Kathleen O'Brien and her great granddaughters Abigail Coughlin and Daisy Rose.  Rita was pre-deceased by her brother Louis Lefevre, but leaves behind her brother Gerard Lefevre of Plainfield, Ct along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held at the Bacon Funeral Home, 71 Prospect St, Willimantic, Ct  on Tuesday, 3/18/2014 from  6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and again on Wednesday, from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph's Church at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Club Road, Windham, Ct.
