Obituary for Ronald N. Picard
Ronald N. Picard, 75, of Willimantic, beloved husband of Shirley (Lambert) Picard, died Sunday, 6/18/06, in St. Joseph Living Center. He was born February 24, 1931 in Willimantic son of the late Eusebe and Fabiola (Marcotte) Picard. He retired from the Mansfield Training School.      Besides his wife, his survivors include two daughters: Jo-Ann Drouin and her husband, Charles of St. Cloud, FL and Judy Bessette and her husband, Bruce of Windham; a son, David Picard of St. Cloud, FL and eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sons, Ronald Picard, Jr. and Jimmie Picard, a brother, Marcel Picard and his aunt, Laura (Picard) Morin, who raised him. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, 6/22/06, at 11 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church in Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Windham. The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the Bacon Funeral Home, 71 Prospect St. Willimantic.
