Obituary for Theresa (Duprat) Carchidi
Theresa (Duprat) Carchidi, 84, of Windham, beloved wife of the late Nicholas F. Carchidi, died July 24, 2011 in Douglas Manor in Windham, CT. She was born April 22, 1927 in Manchester, NH the daughter of Marcel and Eliza (Perron) Duprat. Theresa had been employed by the University of Connecticut. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Women’s Club and a volunteer at the Immaculata Retreat House. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church. Theresa is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Lisa Carchidi of Portsmouth, NH and their children, Genevieve and Amelia. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. Her family will receive relatives and friends Wednesday, 7/27/11, from 6 to 8 p.m. and again Thursday from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. at the Bacon Funeral Home, 71 Prospect St. Willimantic, CT followed by a procession to St. Joseph Church on Jackson St. Willimantic for the celebration of her Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Windham. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary-St. Joseph School, 35 Valley St. Willimantic, CT 06226.
