Obituary for Theresa St. Cyr Drouin
St-Cyr Drouin, Theresa, age 92 ½, died peacefully with family by her side on Friday June 25, 2021, at St. Anthony’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Fla. She was born January 6, 1929 in Littleton, New Hampshire. She was predeceased by her husbands; Ferdinand Joseph Sevigny of St. Julien, Canada, Raymond R. Drouin of Willimantic, CT, and Robert Daigle of Thetford Mines, Canada. Theresa was raised and lived in St. Julien, Prov. Que. Canada for 21 years. She relocated to Willimantic, Connecticut in 1948 where she remained to raise her family of nine children. Upon retirement in 1977, she moved to St. Cloud, Fla. Theresa enjoyed Florida and managed rental cottages for almost 22 years then relocated and finally settled in Gulfport, Fla. Theresa remained close to the country of her youth, Canada. She enjoyed her summer home in the mountains of St. Julien, Canada for over 30 years. An avid gardener, talented quilter, good friend, and advocate for those in need, she welcomed all to her home. She leaves a legacy of caring, giving, and  a tremendously large family of which she was so proud. Theresa’s challenges encountered on her journey were many, but life’s obstacles never stopped her. She overcame them all, never losing her strong faith.Â
In addition to her husbands, she was predeceased by her parents, Joseph St-Cyr and Adelina Baron, and several siblings; Jeanette St-Cyr, Harold St-Cyr, Antoinette St-Cyr, Delina St-Cyr, Noella St-Cyr, and Bibianne St-Cyr. Theresa is survived by her 9 children: Pauline George of Windham, CT, Paul J. Drouin and his wife Gloria of St. Petersburg, Fla, Arthur Drouin and his wife Debbie of Hampton, CT, Pierre Drouin and (Kathy Hall Drouin) of St. Petersburg, Fla, Jeanette Drouin Kegler and the late David D. Kegler of Waterford, CT, Charles Drouin and his wife Jo-Ann of Stuart, Fla, Patrick Drouin, Sr. and (Joy McCall) of Gulfport/St. Cloud, Fla, Andrew Drouin and his wife Tina of Willimantic, CT, and Carol Paddock and her husband Robert of Ilion, NY.Â
Theresa was blessed with 21 grandchildren; Matthew D. Kegler, Michael Kegler, Lynn Drouin, Michelle Drouin Collins, Jennifer Drouin Daring, Artie Drouin, Robert Paddock, Jr., Katherine Paddock, Daniel Paddock, Larissa Drouin Martin, Scott Drouin, Shawn Drouin, Pamela Drouin, Betsy Drouin, Joshua Drouin, Patrick Drouin Jr., Shannon Drouin, Crystal Drouin Aguilar, Amanda Ouillette, Erin George,and sadly, her deceased grandchild Baby Pat Drouin. Â
 She was additionally blessed with 22 great-grandchildren: Gavin Kegler, Nathan Kegler, Gregory Drouin,   Addison Martin,  Avery Martin, Melissa Drouin, Dillon Drouin, Trinity George, Kaley Aguilar, Kohl Aguilar, Robert Paddock III , Daniel Drouin, Emelia Drouin, Magnolia Drouin, Kennedy Daring, Carson Daring, Liam Collins, Aiden Daly, Daniel Daley, Joelene Giblin-Drouin, Jameson Ouillette, and deceased twin, Baby Kelby Aguilar. Theresa’s family brought much love, tremendous pride, and joy!
 Theresa is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who reside throughout the United States and Canada. Her living siblings; Clifford St-Cyr, Edna St-Cyr, Doris St. Cyr, Dorianne St-Cyr, Ferdinand St-Cyr, Paul St-Cyr, and Adolphe St-Cyr reside in Canada. Theresa is also survived by her step-children; Denis Daigle (Josee Lateigne), Sylvie Daigle (Andre Bouchard), Claude Daigle (Chantal Bernard), Alain Daigle (Nathalie Desmarais) who also reside in Canada.Â
  Relatives and friends may call on Friday July 23, from 5 to 7PM at Bacon Funeral Home 71 Prospect St, Willimantic. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday July 24, at 10:30AM at St. Joseph Church 99 Jackson St, Willimantic. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham. In lieu of flowers, donations in Theresa’s memory may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
