Obituary for Thomas G. Peterson
Thomas G. Peterson, 64, of Chaplin, formerly of Amston, passed away Sunday September 20, 2020. He was the son of the late Clarence and Clara (Burnham) Peterson. He is predeceased by his sister Dawn Peterson.
Born on September 18, 1956 in North Windham, CT, he enjoyed fishing, bowling, golfing and his coffee club. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Thomas was a hard worker, starting at a young age with his dad at Pete's Tree Service. He was employed at Agway Feed Plant then went on to Willi Bowl where he worked for over 40 years. He was the proud owner of T&M Golf Carts where he devoted the last 14 years of his life.
He is survived by his 2 daughters Tanya Roy of Willimantic and Rebecca Galvin of Willimantic. He is also survived by his 2 sisters Judith Peterson of Chaplin, Gloria Peterson of North Windham, and 3 brothers, Randy Peterson of Columbia, Glenn Peterson of VT and Dave Peterson of FL.. He also leaves behind his 6 grandchildren whom he adored, Haley Jarvis, Icyss Casanova, Julian Dunnack, Shy-Ann Roy, Tristan Roy and Erin Roy, many nieces and nephews.
