Wendy Ann Martin has gone home to rest with her Lord Jesus Christ on Monday November 21, 2022.
She leaves behind Stephen her "phenomenal" husband who spent countless hours loving and caring for Wendy throughout the 19 years of her illness. Stephen provided hands on care for the last 6 months. Wendy's constant thoughts were of her son Christopher, his wife Allison and her two grandsons Anders and Mason whom she Loved dearly. Wendy treasured her time with them. Her sister Lori who provided her "wonderful" care and husband John, her special nephews and godsons Joshua and Brandon Roode; her parents Anthony and Juliette Dombkowski; brothers Michael and wife Erin, Mark and wife Debbie and Matthew and wife Kerry, along with many nieces and nephews. Special Aunt Beverly and Uncle Ed who offered love, prayers and emotional support throughout the years which meant so much to Wendy. Her special friends Anne St Pierre, Jan Seyboth, Heidi Moore & Joan Smith; and her most loyal companion and fur baby Bethanny. Wendy was predeceased by her mother- in- law Carol who was her best friend.
Wendy loved to cook and bake and she was very good at it. Family members looked forward to her batches of Christmas cookies. Wendy had a green thumb with many houseplants, trees and flowering bushes that thrived under her care. There was not a plant that she did not have some knowledge of. Wendy loved her job as manager of Raspberry Junction that she held for 10 years. There is where she met her husband Stephen. Wendy played an integral role in her husband's plumbing business by handling the finances and day to day operations. Wendy graciously managed her illness for 19 years and will be missed by many. Special thanks to hospice nurse Lenore, caregivers Paula, Harriet, Cheri and Adrianna.
