Obituary for Wilda (Lussier) Adams
Wilda (Lussier) Adams, 95, of Coventry, CT, beloved wife of the late Dick Adams, died June 30, 2016 in Douglas Manor, Windham, CT. Born August 30, 1920 in Willimantic, CT to Eugene and Ernestine (Theroux) Lussier, she resided in Willimantic and Coventry all of her life. Wilda worked for the Electro-Motive Co. for many years, also was a school bus aide, and provided care for Dick in his final years. She leaves two sons: Arthur Adams of Quaker Hill and Gerard Adams and his wife Claudet of Londonderry, NH. In addition she leaves for grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a brother Aldege Lussier of Anaheim, CA. Her family will receive relatives and friends Tuesday, 7/5/16, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the Bacon Funeral Home, 71 Prospect St. Willimantic followed by a procession to St. Mary Church, 1600 Main St. Coventry for the celebration of her Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Club Rd. Windham. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either Homes for our Troops, www.hfot.org or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
