Obituary for Yvette J. (Morin) Bergeron
Yvette J. (Morin) Bergeron, 90, of Columbia, passed from this life to life eternal on 04/19/14.  She was born in Buckland County Belle Chasse, Canada.  She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna M. (Belanger) Morin.  She was a soft spoken kind woman and a loving devoted mother.  She loved her family immensely but God above all.  She cared for a sickly husband for many years and then her totally disabled daughter for over 36 years. She lived a life of sacrifice and was truly a servant of the Lord.  She was a communicant of St. Columba Catholic Church.  Yvette is survived by her six loving children…her daughter Theresa Sutton and her husband Robert of Fairhaven, MA, her son Gerard Bergeron and his wife Corinne Englehart-Bergeron of Worcester, MA, her daughter Annette Beckwith of Columbia, her daughter Susan Crossen and her husband Thomas Crossen of Coventry, her daughter Corinne Bergeron of Columbia, her daughter Denise Bergeron-Skoly and her husband Randy Skoly of Hebron, her sisters Therese Bukowski of Wethersfield and Gemma Gunter of Rockville, twenty-two treasured grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren.  Yvette was predeceased by her husband Marcel E. Bergeron, her loving sister Irene Giard of Glastonbury, and four brothers, Robert Morin of Scotland, Emilien Morin of Willimantic, Raymond Morin of Scotland, and Clement Morin of Reston, VA. Her family will receive friends Tuesday, 4/22/14, from 4 to 7 p.m. and again Wednesday, 4/23/14, from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Bacon Funeral Home, 71 Prospect St. Willimantic followed by a procession to St. Columba Church, Columbia for the celebration of her Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Windham, CT.
