Obituary for Elaine M. Ives
Elaine M. Ives, of Eastford, formerly of Willimantic, died May 21, 2022 at Backus Hospital in Norwich.
She is survived by Daughters; Marie and Jennifer; Son; Lewis; Grandson; Josef; Sisters, Theresa, Connie, Jeanne; Brother; David; Son-in-law; Matthew and Family Friend; Danny. Elaine is now joining in eternal peace; Husband; Lewis; Parents; Armand and Maryrose; Sister, Muriel, and countless family and friends.
Elaine was a loving, kind, and supportive person. She often donated to local food shelters, no freeze shelters and the battered woman's shelter. She loved artwork, drawing, and music. She had a great laugh and a smile that would light up any room. Elaine was a fulltime mother, dedicated to her family. She had a big heart and endless compassion that she instilled in her 3 children. She is greatly loved and will be deeply missed.
Relatives and friends may call on Thursday May 26, from 5 to 7PM at Bacon Funeral Home 71 Prospect St, Willimantic. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday May 27, at 10AM at St. Joseph Church 99 Jackson St, Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Windham.
