Obituary for Anna G. Charron-Fisher
Anna G. Charron-Fisher, 81, of Windham, died December 4, 2009 in Windham Hospital.
She was born January 22, 1928 in Northfield, VT the daughter of Horatio and Mary (Cavanaugh) Gervais.
Ann was employed by the Brand Rex Co. for 27 years, retiring in 1983. She was active in local politics and was a member of St. Jude’s Society. Ann loved life and was enthusiastic in everything she did. She was truly an unforgettable lady.
Her survivors include two daughters: Nichola Charron and Susan Csiki and her husband Carlton; four sons: James Charron and his wife Kathleen, Marc Charron, Christopher Charron and his wife Gail and Greg Charron. She also leaves a sister, Terese Parent and her husband Lucien, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by three siblings and her adoptive parents Edgar and Marguerite Authier.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated THURSDAY, 12/10/09, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary Church on Valley St. Willimantic, CT. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Windham. Her family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and again Thursday from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the Bacon Funeral Home, 71 Prospect St. Willimantic followed by a procession to the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Shrine, 512 W. Saratoga St. Baltimore, MD 21201.
