Obituary for Angeline F. Banks
Angeline F. Banks, 97, of Willimantic, widow of Guyton D. Banks, died Saturday, 4/14/07, in Windham Hospital.  The daughter of Frank and Annie (Maskery) Marsala, she was born August 22, 1909 in New Haven, CT. Mrs. Banks worked for Woolworth’s Dept. Store and later, the Electro-Motive Co., retiring in 1958. She was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church in Willimantic. Her survivors include a son, John Marchese of Lebanon; three daughters: Theresa Gunter of Seale, AL, Ann Bilyew of Lisbon, CT and Margaret Seader of Columbus, GA. She also leaves 16 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, several great, great grandchildren and a great, great, great grandson. She was predeceased by two children and two grandchildren. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 4/17/07, at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church in Willimantic. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Windham. The family will receive friends TODAY, from 6 to 8 p.m. and again Tuesday, from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. at the Bacon Funeral Home, 71 Prospect St. Willimantic. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
