Obituary for Therese Bacon Bock
Therese Bacon Bock, of Willimantic, died peacefully on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at Windham Hospital.  She was born on November 24, 1915 in Willimantic, Connecticut the daughter of the late Arsene and Maria (Theroux) Bacon.             She was the wife of the late Paul A. Bock. During the sixty-three years of their marriage Mrs. Bock traveled frequently to Alaska, Canada, California and Florida. She lived throughout New York State; her last home was in Clareyville, New York before she returned to Willimantic.  She will be remembered for her beautiful needlework and for her adventurous spirit.            Mrs. Bock is survived by her two brothers, Delphis A. Bacon of West Hartford and William R. Bacon of Windham; her two sisters, Rita Mallon of Mansfield Center and Irene Zimmerman of Willimantic who lovingly cared for her sister during the final years of her life. She was pre-deceased by her sisters, Claire Curran and Helen Riordan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who greatly admired their dear Aunt Therese. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
