Louise Delia (Whitehouse) Vertefeuille, 86, died Wednesday, 12/27/06 in Windham.
She was born October 4, 1920 the daughter of Ernest J. and Agnes (Racine) Whitehouse. She was the widow of Charles E. “Red” Vertefeuille who predeceased her in 1961.
She is survived by daughter, Olivia (Donna) Grajeda; grandchildren: Sergio A. Grajeda, Anise P. Grajeda, and Gregory Charles Vertefeuille and his wife, Shellene and great grandchildren, Elise and Shane Vertefeuille. She leaves a brother, Edgar L. Whitehouse and his wife, Edna of Vernon and many nieces and nephews. Her son, Charles “Chuck” Vertefeuille predeceased her in 2001 and a brother, Daniel E. Whitehouse some years earlier.
A Graveside Service will be held Friday, 12/29/06, at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph Cemetery in Windham. Donations, on her behalf, may be made to St. Joseph’s Church Renovation Fund, 99 Jackson St. Willimantic, CT 06226. The Bacon Funeral Home, 71 Prospect St. Willimantic has charge of arrangements.
